MOO
You might've noticed it's been rather quiet around here - both on our side and yours!

So this is just a (sad) little note to say that from now on, we'll only be posting to the blog on our own site, rather than cross-posting to here too.

It's been fun here - and we've loved getting and responding to your comments, but as more of the MOO Crew are posting to the blog, it's getting harder for the team to keep up with everything. It also seems like lots of you are reading our content elsewhere.

I hope you'll come and visit us at moo.com, or you can find us in a few other places too:

**Edit! You can get a syndicated feed here: http://syndicated.livejournal.com/moo_feed/ (thank you Salanth)***

the newsletter for product news and special discounts
twitter for the latest updates and MOO chatter
tumblr our scrapbook of creative ideas
Flickr for MOO community photographs

Thanks again for your support over the past few years - and we really do hope to see you elsewhere online.

Take care,
The MOO Crew

Woo! It's the new MOO...

MOO
Those of you familiar with MOO will have noticed some pretty major changes to our site over the past day or so. Yes, we've redesigned the site!

As we've been hinting at for the past few months, we've been preparing some changes to the site, and this is the first of a series of upgrades we will be making over the next couple of months. Let's look at what's changed and why...MoreCollapse )

Stuck in a (business card) design rut?

MOO
We received such a positive response from our MOO Ideas Book, that we launched The Business Card Project to help inspire small businesses with a business card design inspiration gallery of their own. Since we launched the project back in June, we've tackled hundreds of redesigns spanning a range of industries from healthcare to consulting and entertainment to retail. No matter what industry you're in, there's really no excuse for boring business cards. And as they say, 'the proof is in the pudding', so here we go!MoreCollapse )
MOO
It's been almost two weeks since we officially launched The Business Card Project and our designers have been working hard to rid the world of boring business cards. We've received hundreds of applications, so many thanks to all those who've applied for a redesign--you're keeping our designers nice and busy! MoreCollapse )

Introducing: The Business Card Project

MOO
If you've been following this blog for a while or met any of us in person, you probably know we're passionate about design. That's why we take great care and effort designing products, packaging and even our website to ensure anyone can easily create beautiful, well-designed cards. We know you know the difference a well-designed card can make and how it can be the difference between getting remembered or getting tossed in the rubbish bin. You only need to scroll through the MOO Flickr pool for proof of the amazing cards MOOsters have created!

MOO and SmugMug get together!

MOO
Over the past year, we've been lucky enough to meet a lot of you in person at professional photography events such as WPPi, Focus On Imaging, Photoplus Expo etc. More than a few of you asked us "When is MOO going to team up with SmugMug?" Luckily, the SmugMug team was also there and we all agreed it was a perfect match. Thanks for the introduction!MoreCollapse )

Now THIS is an unboxing

MOO
We rather enjoy watching videos of MOO unboxing. We take great pride in our packaging, custom designing everything in-house for our MiniCards and our Business Cards - so it's exciting for us to see that you like it too.

A marriage of ideas

MOO
With wedding planning comes gift lists, guest lists and 'to do' lists. Getting the details right is probably a list in itself, but we're here to help! We've put together our own list of simple but (very) sweet ways MOO customers have used our products. They've added unique, personal touches to big-up the big day. There's also marketing ideas for the consummate wedding professional; the photographer. MoreCollapse )

Scary MOO!

MOO
It's been a wee while since we've done a Flickr pool round up - and look what we found this morning. Brace yourselves: MoreCollapse )

New Feature! Save Your Projects

MOO
As we mentioned a couple of weeks ago when we launched our Photo Enhancement tool, this is a very exciting time at MOO. Over the next few months you’ll see plenty of additions, and some dramatic changes to the site and the way it works.

So today is the day to tell you about the next new feature to debut on the site – Save Your Project.

This has been perhaps the most requested product feature of the past few months. Lots of you spend many hours crafting and perfecting your MOO cards, and the ability to take a break and come back to finish it later would allow you to take the time you need to make sure everything is just the way you want it.

Well now you can! When making any product on the site, at the bottom-right of the page you’ll see a "save and finish later" link. Click this and you’ll be able to save all the work you've done so far. Once you're ready to start again, just come back to Your Account to pick up where you left off.

You can save as many orders as you want, and each is saved for up to 90 days. We can even send you reminder emails if you want them! We only require that you have a MOO Account to be able to save. (Don’t worry if you don’t have an account yet, you can open one the first time you save an item, it only takes a minute).

The Save feature is live now, so go and play with it and let us know what you think. We hope it's just what you were looking for.
